The Year 5 classes had a wonderful opportunity to build on their learning on the topic of Romans by learning about the daily life of a Roman soldier.  They engaged in a fun and interactive learning experience which helped them learn many exciting facts.

The Britons had to protect their country against this invasion of these strong, well-trained and disciplined Romans!  After the session, the children went back to their own research project to include more interesting facts in their Non-Chronological Report. Avreet was really excited and shared: “Everyone enjoyed the session; it was great fun and we could add a lot to our own project. It was good fun to have the pretend-battle with the other class.”
