Summer Mela 2010
The Governors, PTA and staff at Khalsa Primary School has announced the programme for its Summer Mela 2010. The event which is planned for Saturday 3rd July 2010 from 11.30am to 4pm aims to be a fun packed family day out for all the local community. We plan to have a mini fun fair, Panjabi style food stalls, several other stalls as well as sports activities for both children and adults. Our special guests will be Tigerstyle, the famous British Panjabi group who will be performing on stage. They will be performing tracks from their latest album Mystics, Martyrs and Maharajas. Major raffle prizes to be won including a brand new Apple IPAD, a Nintendo Wii as well as other prizes. All of the community are welcome to this mela and tickets will be charged on entry at £2 per adult. Children under 12 are free.
