you for your interest in Khalsa Primary. We do hope that
you will consider visiting us at school to take a look around.
Our website is currently being updated, and nothing can match the
positive impact of meeting our children and staff team! We
look forward to meeting you.
Our school was founded by the local Sikh community to help teach the children about the Sikh faith, alongside the usual Primary curriculum. However, many of our teachers and children, including myself, are not Sikh. Our common ground is a deep respect for the values which underpin the Sikh faith, which are centred on love, compassion, humility, contentment and truth. These are values which we are actively seeking to put into practice in all our daily lives. Applicants do not need to be Sikh.
We have a great team here. Time and again people comment on the calm and purposeful atmosphere of the school and the great courtesy of the children. It is a lovely environment in which to work.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. References will be sought prior to interview and successful applicants will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
